Interface South
InterfaceSouth and its sister center, Urban Forestry South, are the technology transfer centers of the Southern Research Station research work unit called SRS-4952: Integrating Human and Natural Systems in Urban and Urbanizing Environments and are jointly referred to as the Centers for Urban and Interface Forestry. InterfaceSouth focuses on heightening awareness of and providing information about wildland-urban interface issues in the South and nationwide.

National Fire Protection Association (NFPA)

National Wildfire Coordinating Group
The purpose of NWCG is to coordinate programs of...participating wildfire management agencies so as to avoid wasteful duplication and to provide a means of constructively working together. Its goal is to provide more effective execution of each agency's fire management program. The group provides a formalized system to agree upon standards of training, equipment, qualifications, and other operational functions.

Encyclopedia of Southern Fire Science (ESFS)

NC OneMap is a public service providing comprehensive discovery and access to North Carolina's geospatial data resources. It is an organized effort of numerous partners throughout North Carolina, involving local, state, and federal government agencies, the private sector and academia. It is the geospatial backbone supporting North Carolina data users. NC OneMap is the State Clearinghouse for geospatial information.
